Mission First Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional, mission-relevant training for law enforcement, first responders, and community.
Our instructors come from elite law enforcement and military backgrounds, bringing proven experience—not theory—into every program we support.
We believe standards matter. Preparation matters. And people matter.
The Founder
Mission First Foundation was founded by Christian DeVinney, a retired law enforcement sergeant and tactical leader with 25 years of service.
Throughout his career, Christian served in high-risk operational and leadership roles, including firearms instruction, SWAT leadership, and multi-jurisdictional training development. His experience spans patrol operations, tactical response, instructor development, and mission-critical decision-making.
Mission First Foundation was created to address a hard reality Christian witnessed firsthand: the growing gap between what officers are expected to do and the training, equipment, and support they are given to do it well.
The Foundation exists to close that gap—by ensuring preparation, professionalism, and people are always put first.
